Pivot hinges, or “Pivots”, are the ideal hinge. The bottom hinge supports most of the weight of the door. Since the bottom pivot hinge is mounted directly to the floor, most of the door’s weight is transfered down to your sill.
Hinging a door from a fixed glass panel isn’t a problem anymnore! This system gives you the freedom to hinge your enclosure from a wall or fixed panel. These hinges can accomomade 1/2″, which helps support the door, eliminating the need for a Decorative Header. These hinges can also work in conjunction with a header to provide the additional support needed for 3/8″ thick standard glass. Pivots are available with Square or Beveled Edges.
These Solid-Brass Hinges provides a simple and elegant look, a basic starting point into the Frameless market. Wall Mount Hinges attached directly to the wall by 4 screws per hinge. These hinges clamp to the side of the operable door. Wall-Mounts provide the versatility to have a door hinged from a wall that is severly out of plumb and doors that are over 32″ wide. 2 hinges are used on standard 3/8″ thick glass doors and 3 hignes are used for 1/2″.
