What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, the city your project is in, what you need, and whatever you tell us about the job. You can also attach photographs or plans.
If you call or email us instead, we have whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site: which pages they visit, how they found us, and how they move around a page. Both use cookies and collect information about your device and browser. Clarity hides what is typed into form fields. You can block both with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, and the site works the same.
What we do with it
We use it to price your project, ask follow-up questions, arrange a field measurement and do the work. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Who else can see it
This website is hosted by Netlify. Standard web server records, including the IP address a request came from, are kept by Netlify as part of hosting the site.
Quote requests are handled by Formspree, which receives what you send through the form, including any photographs you attach, and passes it on to us by email.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, and the contact page shows a Google map of our shop. Both mean Google receives the request for those files, including the IP address it came from. The map loads only when you scroll to it and it sets no cookies.
Google and Microsoft receive the visit information described above, through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
If your project needs a supplier, a manufacturer or a contractor involved, we share only what that work requires.
We also keep records where the law requires, for tax and business purposes.
Photographs of your project
We photograph completed installations and may use those photographs on this website, in our portfolio and on social media. We do not publish addresses, and we identify work only by town.
If you would rather we did not photograph your project, or you want a photograph taken down, tell us and we will handle it. You do not need a reason.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and project records are kept while they are useful to us and for as long as our tax and business obligations require. Enquiries that do not turn into work are cleared out periodically.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it, or to delete it, and we will unless we are required to keep it. Email contact@showerdoorking.com or call (301) 874-0156.
Children
This is a website for people buying glass for their homes and businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top. This version is from October 2026.
